From a freelance desk in India to a global growth engine
I started in 2012, freelancing out of India and learning performance marketing the honest way — personally accountable for every rupee and dollar of spend. Across that first decade I promoted 50+ Indian brands in healthcare, education, hospitality, retail and fitness, and built the foundations: ads, landing pages, email and analytics.
From 2021, I went independent and founded OIESU — growing from a solo consultant to an agency principal running six-figure monthly budgets for 150+ international brands across the US, UK, UAE and Australia, with up to 30x ROAS for IVF and fertility clinics and cost-per-lead cut by as much as 40%.
Since February 2024, I've been a Senior Paid Media Specialist at Growth99, owning premium high-budget accounts and escalations as an unofficial small-team lead — the person brought in to rescue underperforming $15k–$30k/mo accounts and restore them to peak.
The part most marketers don't have: I'm a Computer Science engineer (M.Tech, CGPA 8.7). I've shipped 100+ algorithmic trading systems and built an AI marketing-automation platform with 20+ concurrent agents — including a custom CRM with email and WhatsApp automation. So when a growth plan needs a landing page, a tracking layer or an internal tool, I don't brief a backlog. I direct the AI and I build it.
A chapter that reshaped the craft
In 2024, Sunny stepped back from running OIESU — the agency he founded — following the loss of his fiancée, who was also his business partner.
