Serving United States remotely

Web, ads and AI specialist for United States

US businesses hire me remotely for websites, web applications, AI automation and Google and Meta advertising. I work from India, 9.5 to 13.5 hours ahead of the US mainland depending on the zone and daylight saving, so live calls fall in my evening or early morning, while written updates and builds continue overnight. I have run campaigns for US clients, mostly healthcare and service brands.

Based in India, working remotely: no office in United States. The US spans several zones. Eastern is UTC-5 in winter and UTC-4 in summer (daylight saving runs from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November), which puts it 10 hours 30 minutes behind India in winter and 9 hours 30 minutes in summer. Central is 11:30 or 10:30 behind and Pacific 13:30 or 12:30 behind. So 9:00 Eastern is 19:30 or 18:30 for me, and 9:00 Pacific is 22:30 or 21:30. There is no shared office hour: calls fall in my evening or early morning, and I say so up front.

Hiring a remote specialist in United States

The United States is the largest paid-search and paid-social market in the world, and it is also the one where a lead is most expensive. A law firm in Houston, a med spa in Miami and a roofing company in Phoenix each pay a high price per click, so the landing page, the call handling and the tracking decide whether the budget turns into booked jobs. Small gaps, such as a form that does not record the ad that produced it, are costly at that price.

Much of my paid-media work has been for US businesses. Since 2024 I have managed Google and Meta accounts for healthcare and service brands in the USA as a senior paid-media specialist, with monthly spend across the portfolio above $400K, and from 2021 to 2024 I ran campaigns for US agencies as a white-label and NDA partner. That means I am used to US platforms, US call-tracking set-ups, and US stakeholders who expect a clear weekly update.

The practical question is the clock, not the distance. Because I am in India, a call with a client in New York usually happens in my evening, and a call with California in my late night or very early morning. A common pattern is one standing call a week, with written updates, recorded walkthroughs and a shared board covering the rest, so work moves forward while the US is asleep and is ready to review when the US wakes up.

How projects are usually paid
US businesses usually pay by ACH transfer, wire or card against an invoice, often on net-15 or net-30 terms. Sales tax in the US is set state by state and mostly applies to goods and some digital products, so a business normally asks its accountant whether it applies to a service. Local currency: USD.

Rules and market notes for United States

Google Search and Google Business Profile lead for high-intent local searches, with Local Services Ads for trades and legal; Meta drives awareness and lead forms, and LinkedIn is used for B2B.

Call tracking is central because many US service leads arrive by phone, and review profiles on Google and Yelp influence which business gets the call.

Spanish-language pages and campaigns matter in states such as California, Texas, Florida and New York.

  • The California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA applies to many businesses that handle California residents' data, and other states, including Texas, Virginia and Colorado, have their own privacy laws.
  • The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) covers marketing calls and texts, so lead forms that allow follow-up by phone or SMS normally need a clear consent line; the CAN-SPAM Act covers commercial email.
  • HIPAA can apply to healthcare providers, which affects what a site's forms and tracking tags may collect and share with ad platforms.
  • Website accessibility is a live legal area under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and WCAG is the standard most often referred to.
  • Law-firm advertising is also governed by each state bar's rules on claims and testimonials.

Hiring for United States: questions

A common pattern is one standing weekly call at a time that suits both sides, which for the US East coast is usually my evening, and rely on written updates, recorded walkthroughs and a shared board for the rest.

Yes. I have run Google and Meta campaigns for US clients, mainly healthcare and service brands, both directly and as a white-label partner for agencies, and I know US call tracking and lead-form conventions.

No. Websites, campaigns and automations are built remotely, and the work is aimed at the state or metro area your customers are in, whichever of the fifty states that is.

Yes. I add a clear consent line next to the phone field and store it with the lead, so follow-up calls and texts are traceable. Your lawyer should confirm the wording for your case.

Yes. I did exactly this for agencies from 2021 to 2024, working under NDA and in the agency's name, with its own reporting format, tools and communication channels.
