Website designer and developer for businesses that need enquiries, not just a nice homepage
I design and build websites that are measured by enquiries and booked calls, not by how they look in a screenshot. Every page is written for one visitor and one action, loads fast on a phone, is set up for search from day one and is wired to tracking and a CRM, so you can see which pages and ads produce leads. I come from paid media, so I know what a click costs.
What you get
- Design
- a mobile-first design system and every page in the agreed scope.
- Build
- a production site on fast hosting, ready to edit.
- SEO foundations
- titles, descriptions, headings, structured data, sitemap, robots file and redirects.
- Tracking
- GA4, Tag Manager and conversion events for forms, calls and WhatsApp clicks.
- Lead handling
- a protected form with instant e-mail or WhatsApp notification and a thank-you page.
- Handover
- a recorded walkthrough, written notes and 30 days of fixes after launch.
Why I design websites differently
Most agency websites are judged on design. Mine are judged on what happens after the visit: how many people call, fill the form, message on WhatsApp or book a slot. After twelve years of managing paid campaigns, with more than $400K of monthly ad spend passing through pages I have built or reviewed, I treat a website as the second half of an advertisement. If the page is slow, vague or hard to use on a phone, the money spent to bring visitors to it is wasted.
That background shapes the brief. Before I draw anything I ask who the visitor is, what they searched or clicked to arrive, what worry stops them from enquiring, and what single action you want. The answers decide the structure of the page, the order of the sections and the words in the headline.
What a finished website includes
A project is not finished when the pages look right. It is finished when the site is fast, accessible, findable and measurable, and when you can edit it without calling me.
- Design for phone first, then tablet and laptop, checked at real device sizes rather than in a resized desktop window.
- Speed work: optimised images, no render-blocking scripts, fonts loaded sensibly, and a target of a green Core Web Vitals result on mobile.
- Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA: contrast, keyboard use, visible focus, labelled forms and sensible heading order.
- On-page SEO: one clear heading per page, unique titles and descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and a robots file, clean URLs and redirects from any old addresses.
- Lead capture that works: a short form with spam protection, instant notification to you, a confirmation page that tracks conversions, and click-to-call and WhatsApp buttons that are counted.
- Analytics and ad tracking set up properly: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, enhanced conversions and the Meta pixel where you use them.
- A way for you to change text and pages afterwards, either a simple admin or a documented handover.
Design, build and the technology underneath
I build with Next.js and React on a fast server, or on a platform you already use when that is the better choice. I do not push a technology for its own sake: a five-page brochure site for a clinic does not need a custom application, and I will say so. When a project does need more, such as a booking system, a customer portal, a calculator or a dashboard, the same codebase can grow into a web application instead of being rebuilt.
Design work follows a design system rather than one-off pages: a small set of colours, type sizes, spacing and components, applied consistently, so new pages stay on brand and the site stays quick. I use AI tools for drafting, research and testing, and I review every line and every sentence myself before it ships.
Websites for lead generation and paid campaigns
If you advertise on Google or Meta, the landing page decides your cost per lead. I have built more than a hundred landing pages and tested them against live budgets: headline and offer variations, form length, trust signals, the position of the call button, and the difference between sending ad traffic to a home page and to a page built for that ad.
I can build the website and run the campaigns that feed it, so the two are designed together and measured in the same place. Some clients prefer to keep their own agency for ads; I am equally happy to build the site and hand over clean tracking.
How I work with businesses in other countries
I work remotely from India with clients in many time zones. We agree one or two weekly calls at times that suit you, I share progress in a shared board and a staging link at every stage, and I reply to messages the same working day. You review real pages early rather than a finished design at the end, which is how most revisions are avoided.
Fixed-scope projects are quoted as a fixed price with a written list of pages and features; ongoing work, such as new pages, tests and monthly optimisation, can run as a retainer. You own the website, the content and the accounts it runs on.
How the work runs
- 01
Brief and audit
A call to learn the business, the visitor and the goal, plus an audit of any existing site and your current search and ad data.
- 02
Structure and messaging
A page map, the wording of each headline and call to action, and a list of the proof you can show: reviews, results, certificates.
- 03
Design
Phone-first layouts in your brand colours, reviewed with you on a staging link before any build effort is spent.
- 04
Build
Fast, accessible pages with forms, tracking and SEO foundations built in, not added at the end.
- 05
Test
Real-device checks, speed and accessibility testing, form and tracking tests with test data.
- 06
Launch and hand over
Redirects, sitemap submission, a launch-day watch, a recorded walkthrough and written notes so you can run it.

Questions about website design and development
A focused business website of five to ten pages usually takes three to five weeks from the signed brief, depending on how quickly content and feedback arrive. A custom application or a large catalogue takes longer, and I give a schedule with the quote.
Either. I use Next.js for speed and control, and WordPress or Shopify when you need an editor your team already knows or a store with ready-made features. I recommend the one that fits your content, budget and plans, and explain why.
I build the technical and on-page foundations that let a site rank: speed, structure, titles, structured data and clean URLs. Ranking also depends on competition, content and links over time, so I do not promise positions. I can plan and write the content that earns them.
Yes. I list every URL that earns traffic, keep or redirect each one, carry over the useful content and compare traffic before and after launch.
Yes. The code, content, design files and accounts are yours, and I hand over access and written notes at the end.
Yes. Paid media is my main discipline. I can build the site and run the campaigns together, or build the site and hand over clean tracking for another team.
